Driveways Come In All Shapes & Sizes.

By far, the preferred surface for redoing most residential driveways is interlocking pavers, often from high-quality Belgard Pavers. (They have regional manufacturing facilities across the U.S., so be sure to enter the zip code where your project is located to see appropriate styles/colors for your area.) There are so many choices and colors available within one’s local area, that options — and even paver manufacturers — seem endless.
A second choice is decorative concrete because plain concrete tends to crack over time.
When homeowners (with the help of their local hardscape contractor) narrow down choices, then 2D imaging will give them a better idea of what it’s all going to look like.

Driveways End Note.
Be sure to pick a driveway paver style that takes enough PSI (pounds per square inch) appropriate for heavy vehicles. Patio pavers won’t do the heavy lifting.
One hardscape contractor we worked with for years until the partners went their separate ways (Go Pavers, now GEMABS), built driveways strong enough to handle firetrucks, especially when a property was located in a high fire zone or a seasonally dry mountainous area.
Something to think about.
